Pastors' Welcome

Welcome to Salvation Church’s website.  We are a church were the Holy Spirit rests.  We care about each other. We love the members and we love our God.  We are following God’s commission to save souls.  We desire to help singles, married couples, older and younger adults, as well as teens and children.  We minister through the Word and through powerful corporate worship. Our greatest joy is to see people live productive, Godly lives. We want you to know God and not just ”churchy stuff.” Maybe your passion is teaching children to pray, or walking and talking to seniors. Perhaps you love computers or have an administrative gift, all are welcome here.  Our favorite people are those who are looking for God!  Are you looking for God?  Well, He’s looking for you! Perhaps you strayed from God.  We want you to know that His arms are still open to you. We are especially here for you! We are here to serve you, so you can grow and serve your God.  Come to Salvation Church where there’s more to Salvation than you thought!

           We Love You,

Apostle Jerry Taylor & Pastor Darlene Taylor

Mission

The primary mission of Salvation Church is to fulfill the great commission as found in Matthew 28:19. In order to effectuate this vision we seek to: share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost; edify and develop the believer’s spirit, soul and body through prayer, anointed worship, teaching and preaching, and to provide fellowship for the believers so that they may lead victorious, productive Christian lives. “Life in Christ” is our theme, maturity of the believer is our focus, and SALVATION for the lost is our quest!

Vision

To disciple and develop the believer’s spirit, soul and body so that they can reproduce the attributes of Christ in their lives and impact the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

(Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22)

3 Components of The Vision

1. Spiritual Empowerment: (Salvation)

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,... and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Acts 1:8

2. Community Empowerment: (Service)

"…Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself…"

- Mark 12:27-32

3. Economic Empowerment: (Wealth)

"...But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day. "

- Duet. 8:18

We’d love to meet you!
